sBooks is a digital-only publisher
We currently publish short reads from successful SilverWood authors, but are soon to widen our remit. We love working with authors who are engaged with their readers, and are passionate about their writing. What better way to support them than by commissioning short fiction that supplements their self-published work and extends their platform.
Your Questions
What length books does sBooks publish?
35,000 words maximum. We're keen on short, sharp reads... exciting page turners that can be read in one sitting, or during a commute, or which serve as a taster for a longer novel or series.
Where can I get an sBook?
sBooks are available for a wide range of e-reading devices including Kindle, Kobo, iPad and Nook. Follow us on Twitter for news of releases, and search your favourite online retailer.
How can I find out about sBooks authors?
Our Authors page gives details, and you'll also find links to author websites and information on how to connect with them on social media. Each sBook will also have an author page at the back of the eBook novella so that if you love what you're reading you can easily click through to the author's social media profiles.
You can then connect with them, visit their website and share how much you enjoyed their book on your own Twitter or Facebook page.
Submissions
Presently we commission books from existing SilverWood authors.
However, if you're willing to be patient and you have a stunning one-page synopsis to send us,
featuring a strong female lead, we'd love to consider you for the future.
